Video Storytelling and Culture in Spain: During the summer of 2025, a cohort of 16 students traveled across Spain, reporting and producing nine original short documentaries and four segments for an episode of WCVB Channel 5’s “Chronicle.”

From the streets of Madrid to the picturesque cities of Seville and Salamanca, with trips to Toledo, Granada, Cadiz, and Segovia, the group explored cultural identity, regional traditions, and social change through the lens of local Spanish communities. Under the guidance of professors Mike Beaudet and Monica Canavan, these visual stories reflect the diversity of Spanish life and the power of dialogue to bridge borders and perspectives.
